Apprentices

For much of history, the healing arts have been taught by apprenticeship with an Elder.  [We still see evidence of this in such things as residency for young doctors.]  However, opportunities for an apprenticeship in the fields of touch and subtle energy work don’t exist much in this culture.

Since I’m in my fourth decade of practice, I believe that I have an obligation to the younger generation of healers to be available as an Elder.  I’ve had the good fortune of working with dazzling young healers from as far away as Japan and France as well as many from the United States.  I make time to do this work because I believe that it is invaluable for me and for my students.  At any given time I’m working with one to three young healers.
